Softball legend Glen Eichelberger was known as one of the toughest outs in the game. The hard-hitting Eichelberger, a former baseball player in the early 1960s at Syracuse University, smashed 700 career home runs, including 105 round-trippers in a two-year span.
The slow pitch softball hall of famer played on several local teams and from 1968-1971 participated in four ASA Regional Tournaments and the National ASA Class A Tournament in Parma, Ohio.
